Type of a scam Travel/Vacations
I was contacted by Basic Real Estate Solutions about having a US based Business that wanted to purchase my timeshare unit. I have never listed my timeshare unit for sale. However, Basic Real Estate Solutions emailed me all the paperwork to proceed with the sale that included the contact details of an Escrow company called Golden Holdings LLC located at 5255 Piper Station Dr. Charlotte, NC 28277. Eventually Basic Real Estate Solutions demanded that I transfer 4491.00 USD to the Escrow company to cover the fees for my timshare management company. I counter offered that I would pay the fees to my timeshare management company. Basic Real Estate Solutions replied that this was not acceptable. At this point, I suggested they take the fees from the money from their offer. This would just reduce my sale price by 4491.00 USD and everything would be in balance. Basic Real Estate Solutions replied that this was not acceptable. In the end, Basic Real Estate Solutions just wanted me to transfer 4491.00 USD into their escrow account care of Golden Holdings LLC. I called them out about their scam and never heard back from them.
