Type of a scam Debt Collections
They called me saying they were going to serve me with court papers. Gave me a number to call the company to find out what this was about. I called the number and no one answered. I did not leave a message or anything but they called me back in a matter of minutes. He refused to give me any information about his company. All he told me was I have a court date scheduled for 8/21/2018 to garnish my wages for a debt with Kay Jewelers from 2013 for over $5000.00. I never bought anything on credit from Kay Jewelers. The man was very rude to me. I told him I know nothing about this debt and he told me I was lying. He gave me an option to pay over the phone. When I refused he said not to worry they will see me in court.
