As I called the restaurant a text popped up immediately telling me to place my order on line and receive 5% discount. After placing and paying for the order I was called by the owner saying that order hero was a scam. Not sure how they were able to text me, must have the pizza places number hijacked.
The “Order Hero” site www.tacosguaymas.site is fake. I am the attorney for the owner of the Tacos Guaymas restaurant a the address and phone number on the site (Seattle) and my client has nothing to do with this site. Unsuspecting persons who have ordered and paid online have appeared to pick up their orders. This is theft.
I ordered a product from Tessi’s pizza in Salem, NH through order hero. I was soon informed by the restaurant staff that I’d have to pay again when I got there since order hero doesn’t supply the restaurant with payment. I can’t find a contact number or email to get my money back.

They appear to hijack google maps profiles of independent restaurants and insert their fake website copying the restaurant’s menu where you place your order and give them your credit card info. The restaurant does not know about the order and doesn’t get the money. We canceled the payment through our credit card company and just paid the restaurant directly.

This service advertises like a DoorDash for quick ordering of food from multiple restaurants. However, you get to the restaurant and they tell you it is a scam. Yet, they take your money, before you get there. Requiring you to then cancel your credit card and contact any and all businesses that you have auto deduct taken from each month. Nightmare!
