Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
USPS Priority Mail letter received on 7/12/18. A check that had the initial appearance of being genuine for $1950 and a cheap photocopied letter that was blurry was inside the envelope. The instructions were to deposit the check and then go to a Walmart to purchase an item under $50 and write a report on your experience. Next, you were to also send two separate money orders and two different receivers were to receive them. Only a name and a city were given. It had some general guidelines on what you were supposed to write in your review of the Walmart. There was a phone number in the letter. This is completely bogus and not at all how mystery shops are conducted.
