I went on Zillow.com to look for houses to rent. I found 1556 Duxberry Ave, Columbus, OH. I contacted Permeti Erion, the person and the info listed on the website. I received an email from [email protected] A few days later and they sent an application in the email. I filled out the application. The next day they accepted me as their tenant. They asked for a security deposit of $700. They said it was refundable. I sent the payment through CashApp and Zelle and the proof. I asked for the keys. He refused to send them to me until I paid another $700. I changed my mind because it just didn’t seem okay for him not to send me the keys to the property or have a contact person in Ohio. I requested my money back but the person refused and has stopped responding to my messages and emails.
