I DON’T EVEN GIVE 0 RATE FOR THIS COMPANY
Absolutely terrible. Please trust the C- minus rating that the Better Business Bureau gives Mega Van Lines. I certainly wish I had.

The 5 star reviews are fake. This company runs a massive bait-and-switch scam.

GERALDO of Mega Van Lines misrepresented to me that a truck was secured and my belongings would be picked up from Anaheim California and delivered to winter garden Florida on the dates that I requested. my household goods after promise of delivery over 5 times! If you need professionals, this time it. GERALDO was giving me a deal when booking but afterwards you will find out nothing is included. No boxes not disassemble, nothing!? A scam

my contact was $2300 which is I paid through Zelle pay to mega van lines $781 over what was agreed upon when they come I have to pay 2nd half After my goods were picked up
artist named Jamel Forte of sale manager five star professional movers
showed up days later than promised, packed all my stuff, after he took all the goods that told me paid him $851 for my 2nd payment but also he told me I needed to pay him an additional $7000 more becouse took more space when I booked I give them each items inventory after packed he represented to me that he would meet me in winter garden next Saturday in 2 weeks time. Now I find out These men and their strange Penske truck were unlicensed and uninsured.
Now its already 1 month 2 week they pick up our items on 01/05/20021 until today we did not get to know where is our items. they are very much dishonest people with no maners, EVERY TIME WE CALLED GIVE US FALSE INFORMATION AND EXCUSES. Refuses to give refund required by their contract
I signed a contract on July 22 and cancelled on July 23 in the exact manner required by the contract. I contacted the company by phone and email. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The company keeps saying they are reviewing, authorizing, or waiting for approval and will then send me a non-disclosure agreement and they will call me and after I take down any negative reviews (this is the first review I have written) they will send me my refund. But, they never actually send me the non-disclosure agreement or call or send me the refund. I paid a deposit of $810. The move coordinator assured me that their company does the actual moving and is not just a broker of other movers. But, when I realized the contract said they were just brokers, I cancelled the contract. I have provided proof the contract was cancelled on time. In general, under business law, a contract can be cancelled within 3 days. This contract was no different. It said who to send an email to if you wanted to cancel and to state a reason. I sent the email and stated I wanted to cancel because they are a broker and not an actual mover. When I first called to follow up on the refund I was told it would be sent in 14 days. Then when I didn’t get the refund, I called again and was told I was too late. After I explained I had already cancelled on time, they then said they had told me it was under review, but actually they had told me it would be sent in 14 days. This company has refused to give me back my deposit even though they are obligated to give it to me under their own contract. It is very sad that I have had this significant amount of money taken away from me unfairly. They respond to my Better Business Bureau complaint, but they don’t actually ever do what they say they will do. It is very sad to deal with them.

Type of a scam Moving

MVL is a scam. The lure you in with the low moving prices and makes you sign a contract with a non refundable deposit then outsources there services to 3rd party companies that have higher cost for the move

Mega Van Lines is a fraudulent company. We called them and at first everything seems nice and they act like their helpful. Well then after they do a quote over the phone and you go over everything with them, another person calls you, from there they go over what you want moved and it costs more then what they said it would be. Not only did we have to wire money (red flag) we were told we were paying for a Semi, but when they showed up to our home it was a Penske Truck that could only fit a two bedroom home. Ours was a FIVE bedroom home which we had discussed, they show up in a rented truck not even marked Van Lines. So when we called them they not answer it was some random person taking phone calls for another company. They scammed us out of money, never moved us and won’t return our calls, and when we tried talking to the first person we talked to he hung up on us. It truly is devastating to have your money stolen, be lied to and not even get moved on MOVING DAY!! There’s nothing anyone will do for us, but I write this to help someone else NOT get scammed by this company. Please DO NOT use Mega Van Lines, they are liars, thieves, and rude people. We lost money, caused us tremendous stress, anxiety and a lot of problems!!!

Looking for a moving company on line and keyed in by my area in WI. Their number came up so I called for an estimate. I explained I wanted local movers and they said they use local people. I asked where they came out of and they said Baldwin WI. They said. The buy up small moving companies and operate them. They said they were local .

I told. Them a date, they said that was fine but I had to pick a second date I case of weather or unforeseen circumstances. They went through my list and gave me a price. They gave me a good discount. They said they needed $955 down and $725 cash upon pick up and $725 cash on delivery. They said they would call three days before with a box count and to go over the list again. They took the money from my credit card.

Several different people called in the next week to go over the list. They told me it would be $2000 more. I took off the list 7items , the refrigerator, two large tv’s, a chair any 7 boxes and they still wanted more money. They were nasty on the phone and said well they would put on the truck what they could. The day before the move, after several more calls from a JEFF Daniels with many different voices, they said they could not come until the next day. I called the company and he said he would get someone there. A person called and said he would come at 3 pm, then called back and said 4 pm then 6 pm. They were moving us 80 miles in one day and starting at 6 at night. They were threatening and it was scary. I told them not to come, then I called the company head quarters and told them not to send them and I sent an email. On the last call I received I told them I would call the Police. My children did some checking and found horrible reviews on Yelp and the internet and a complaint from Dr that paid them $6000 and three months later he still didn’t have his furniture. This came at a time when all riots were in MPLS and coming out our way. We were afraid. I received a call from a different mover who said someone contacted his company to do the move but he will not work with Mega Van Lines because they are bad news but he offered to move us privately. I didn’t take the offer but appreciated the call. I feel we should get our money back because they could not provide the service they said. Than God for small miracles. We still have concerns as they have our information. All the bad reviews were removed from the internet that day.

I contacted Mega Van lines because they got an A+ 5 star rating with the Better Business Bureau. They were very nice upfront and had the best price. I give them as much detail about my move for the estimate. I accepted the price and paid my deposit. They were supposed to do a follow up 3 days prior to the move to go over everything. No one contacted me. I reached back out to my sales rep. She was unavailable. I waited a few days and text her again. As she told me I could text her any time. She also said that she would stay in touch with me which she did not. I schedule this move 35 days in advance. When I decided to call her she did not answer her phone. She sent me a text message. She said she had a family emergency. That she would be in the office the next day. I still did not hear anything from her. I text a few days later. Same excuse. I finally called the main office spoke to a guy named Paul he said that she had been out on vacation. That’s where the scam began. He said that he emailed me 3 days before. I never received an email. At this time we went back over everything by phone. I sent him photographs of everything. I described everything. I explained everything down to the storage room on my back porch I had an estimate of $4700 which I thought was a good price. The movers came they told me they were going have to use extra boxes. I figured that would be OK. Paul told me it might be a little more. I was ok with that. When they were done and the van was loaded the bill was almost $10000 it was $5000 over of the price of the estimate. Do not use Mega Van lines. My things are in their truck as I speak and I have no clue what the outcome of this move is going to be.
