Purchase of 2 puppies, deposit of $700, then balance of $800 the day of shipment. Then the airline claimed to have to have vaccines and special crates which was $2400…all through Zelle. We did our research with our banks and they both had Zelle, were highly recommended. Turns out they would dispute the charges and Zelle would not give us a refund either. They are awful people!

We contacted the seller through email and text. We talked back-and-forth through text message to purchase a toy poodle. They wanted us to reserve the puppy with a cash app or Zelle payment. We paid the deposit through Zelle and the puppy was supposed to get shipped the next day. After the payment was made we received an email from the shipper requesting an additional $800 for vaccine and a climate controlled crate. Once I received the email from the shipper I got very suspicious and told the shipper to send the dog back to the original owner and I would contact them for further pick up instructions. At that point the owner was still answering phone calls and trying to get us to pay the shipper so that the dog could get shipped. I refuse to make the payment to the shipper and I told the owner to pick the dog back up and I will pick it up personally. At that point the owner would not allow me to pick the dog up personally and told me I would get a refund. The refund never came. I guess at this point I am out the $300 that I sent to him through Zelle.

The website owner claimed to have AKC poodle puppies for sale for $500. These toy puppies usually sale for over $2,000. When I emailed the contact, I was told that they would fly the puppy to us, including several things, such as a crate, etc. Since they claim to be i LA, and I am in Orange County, I asked to pick it up. They said that was not allowed; they would need to meet me in "the city". Nobody calls LA "the city". They were very specific about how to make a deposit and how fast to make it. The refused to tell me which puppies were available, where we could meet, or if they could bring more than one puppy with them. When I received the below email, I stopped communication and reported them to ************.
