I was attempting to place an order for swimsuits. The initial item total was to be $137.62 minus a 32% discount that had yet to be applied (for orders over $125), plus tax, free shipping. After indicating PayPal & confirming it’s info, I was directed back to the cart. I noticed in small font at the bottom that the order total had changed to $303+. I opened the item info, & every item’s price had more than doubled. I was unable to change or delete any item…the site would have only allowed me to click "order submit". I attempted to place a complaint be email thru the site but it wouldn’t allow the info to be submitted. I’m sure most people wouldn’t have noticed the price switch & would have been cheated with the much higher price. As I was unable to delete the order, my name & address were left within their system. Again, I’m just grateful that I had indicated PayPal rather than a direct payment source. To be safe, I’ve removed a payment source thru PayPal.

I fell for a pop-up add displaying a cute blouse, went to the website and purchases several tops. The products came, and although I will wear them, they were certainly not of the quality I was expecting. But that was only the beginning. I made the mistake of using a debit card instead of a credit card, and since this was the ONLY time I have ever done that, I am positive that the fraudulent charge that showed up a week later was from that place. A few days after I made that mistake, I discovered a $265.80 charge from USCC IVR. Upon researching that company name I found it was a scam. Please do what you can to prevent someone from making the same expensive mistake!

It has taken two months to get nowhere with this company. I continually get the runaround from them even after showing them a screenshot of the tracking of the shipment that never left China. I’m not in the habit of ordering online from companies I don’t know but this one is a total scam and I should have known better. I’ve been waiting for a blouse for two months, at a cost of about $40 CND. I originally ordered two but within the 24 hours after I cut the order in half. They took the money right away before shipping but did refund me for the removed item. The rest is just been stupidity in their responses to me.

Here is a copy and paste of what I’ve looked at since August 27th, 2018 – It basically stops when it says it was delivered to the Airlines. It never landed in Canada to track at all.

This is getting ridiculous! Beyond ridiculous. Have someone who is fluent in English read this one please.

The package is NOT being processed, it is NOT in transit, it has NOT been shipped out!! What do you NOT understand???

You are lying. If you look at all of the tracking via emails I have written to you, you would see that it never left China!!!

It must be lost at the airport IN China. It never made it to CANADA, that is and was the point. It is LOST!!!

It is now October 18th 2018 and this was ordered on August 17, 2018. The package never reached Canada to continue to track it.

Get over it and show some integrity and give me a full refund for this complete inconvenience. The package is not coming to me, that is clear.

It is clear your company is a scam, you are just making money off of people and not delivering the goods. I demand a full refund today!

I have no more patience and am reporting you to the ScamPulse.com. And, I will forward this complete thread of emails to them as well.

You have the worst customer service and do not back up your promises to deliver the product. You should have Re-sent the product to me after the first time I let you know it couldn’t be tracked.

I am adding a screen shot of the TRACKING info that has not changed since you started the shipping process.

I’m done, give me my money back now because the transaction was already made back in August!

Here is a copy of the SAME info that was posted on August 27th by China when my package went to the Airlines to start its journey to Canada.

It has not been updated at all since then. What do you people not understand when I ask you to take some time to INVESTIGATE the whereabouts of my package??????

I have been patient and yes I see you have stated it is supposed to be delivered between Sept 13 and 25 2018 … and it is NOT here yet as of today Sept 27th.

I have asked you to FIND it and you have given me the same answer over and over.

It does not take over a month to come to CANADA from China. I have no other avenues to lay a complaint here so please for the last time, Please find my order and do not tell me to wait or that it is still in transit. Your shipping policy says Speedy …. and we all know that is not what is happening. FIND IT OR REPLACE IT now. I have been beyond patient. Canada Post is my carrier and there is no information at all in the tracking. They have not received it yet. It’s still in China. I didn’t choose a Chinese airline to ship this.

Please FIND my package! The tracking link STILL says ‘Delivered to Airlines’ in China … So since nothing has been updated or added to this information that refers to August 27th 2018, I’m thinking that my blouse is LOST in China at the airport or on the plane in the cargo hold because it does not take three weeks to fly to CANADA!! I cannot track it with Canada Post because it has not arrived IN Canada yet!!! Why NOT? IF I could see it IN CANADA through the tracking that would show me it’s on its way.

I am annoyed now and expect you to RESEARCH its disappearance.

I’ve been patient with this but really, your customer service should be doing something to FIND the item.

Please do NOT tell me to wait a few more days … Find out where it is please, that’s all I want to know. IF it is lost then you should replace the order.

Sorry, but I won’t be dealing with your company again if you don’t take the time to investigate this matter. There should have at least been an estimated, or expected date of delivery to my door.

It is now September 10, 2018, and I have not seen any change in the tracking information. I know it is being shipped internationally but if you will notice on the tracking information I am including below, it says it was delivered to the airlines in China and is IN TRANSIT since August 27th.

I want to know if it has been lost because it should have made it to CANADA by now as I refer to the info below. Canada Post has no tracking information on it yet.

There is no scheduled delivery time given and no email or phone number to contact in the tracking information window.

All I want to know is where is my package?

This was my first order with Modlily and will surely be my last because of the sheer lack of shipping information available.

I began this order on August 17th, 2018 and once it was In Transit as of August 27th, I expected to have more updated information long before now. Seriously, it doesn’t take two weeks on a plane to arrive in Canada from China … !

Again, the only information I’ve received by tracking is as you see below. PLEASE find out what has happened. Thank you, ***, for your response on September 3rd but as you can see … nothing has changed. This is ridiculous. Thank you for your time.

On another note, I was advised that the remainder of my order had been shipped last week. I’ve been checking the tracking number for several days and the information is just sitting on the same thing … In Transit and apparently left China on the 27th of August via AIR or at least it says, Delivered to Airlines.

There is no further information. I figured it would have landed in Canada by now … so just wondering if it was coming by boat? … since it is taking so long to get an update on it.

I ordered several items from Modlily. They did not fit properly at all, and I wished to return them. They offered to give me a percentage back instead and keep the items. When I refused, they insisted that I take the percentage offer. I still refused. Finally after many e-mails, they supplied me with a return address and phone number. I checked out the address supplied and it was some rental property in Maryland. The phone number they gave me was also fake. It was a construction business in Florida. I used PayPals to purchase the items. So glad that I did not give them my credit card.

I ordered a bathing suite. I do not like it. It is the wrong size and the suit has wires that could be dangerous because they poked out of the suite. Very Cheaply made. I tried to create a return "ticket" but all of my emails come back undeliverable and the phone number "cannot be completed as dialed. I have gotten a response from the ordering email, but they keep telling me that they cannot help me unless I create a return "Ticket" and as stated that option does not work.

Clothing is not sewn correctly, sizes are very small … They say easy 30 day return but inform you the items must be shipped back to China, costs more to ship them back, tell the customer to sell or give the clothing away. They send grossly mis-sized and very poorly-made, inferior product and when you ask for a return they say it is too costly to return with shipping so they want to "compensate you" with another subpar item. This is true- when I went by the post office with my package, to have a tracking #, which they "require" it is $56 to return the coat to China. In February (2016) I placed an order of 68.99 with this company — Modlily through their online website. I never received my order. The website says they have live chat (it does not work) Phone number provided is a voice mail and no one calls back. I filed a dispute with Paypal & their only response to me through Paypal was it was sent & tracking said it was delivered. It was not. I have been a Paypal customer for 10 1/2 years and have never filed a dispute. I wish I had researched the company first. Just go online and type in their company name. Also read comments on their face book account. Angry customers.

I am out of my hard earned money. This company should be put out of business.
