Type of a scam Employment

I use many job sites to apply for employment. Mid-November, I was contacted via email about an opportunity to work for a company called JPS LLC for a job title "Escrow Assistant." The company had a website and letterheads that appeared safe. A day later, I was contacted by the company for a phone interview. Again, the business seemed to be legit. I sent all the required documents to the company via email, and several days later, I was informed that I was hired. The responsibilities included receiving packages, check packages, remove old shipping labels to replace with a new shipping label (provided by the company) and then reship the packages using UPS/FedEx. Several weeks later, I received a call from a merchant and was informed that the label on a previously shipped package was fraudulent and was warned that the shipment might have paid for using a stolen credit card. I reached out to the company by calling the number provided but did not get an answer. I then contacted the immediate supervisor, Mr. Michal Remsey, via email and advised him to contact me via telephone. I never received call and was and advised to email my concerns instead. The products used were packages, shipped to me, as well as shipping labels.
