Type of a scam Employment
Received a text saying they found my resume on Indeed and to message another ‘employee’ for an interview. Went through the interview which seemed very suspect and almost like a bot, but with supervision. After I was ‘hired’, in order to start training they needed to send me a check in order to get equipment. This was about the point I started realizing this was a fake check scam; and when I have stopped responding. The check is actually supposed to arrive by FedEX today, and I am currently being harassed by said account on if I have received it.
