Total money lost $229
Type of a scam Online Purchase
After seeing a Facebook ad for wrinkle cream: Free sample if you paid the shipping. So, I did that. Then a month later a charge for $179.00 appeared on my charge card. I disputed the charge as I had NOT purchased the product. I contacted the company and they told me to send the item back Priority Mail and they would refund me. THEN, they emailed me and said that since I had contacted my credit card company, they would REFUSE the Priority Mail package and charge me extra fees. Now they want $229.00! I feel that it was false advertising as NOTHING was "free" and then they want to add extra charges plus the price. And they are going to turn me into a collection agency if I don’t pay. As a senior citizen, I don’t have extra money for scams.
If you look at their Facebook page, it is FULL of other people just like me. Other people have reported this company to you. Is there any help you can give us? Thank you, Susan Perry
