Type of a scam Online Purchase
I google searched for a Kate Spade outlet to purchase a present for my daughter. I found a site at www.katespadeoutlets.us.org and proceeded to purchase a wallet. The total purchase plus shipping was $60.99 and as soon as I submitted payment I received a call from my bank that it was a possible fraud with a charge for $67.99 from a site I didn’t know. NO other info was given and I have since "contacted" the company under their "contact us" of their page and no one has responded to me. I do not know if Kate Spade is aware there is a website out there saying they are affiliated with them and are selling their products for cheap, I saw the Kate Spade logo and assumed it as legit. Upon further snooping of the site, there are numerous spelling and grammatical errors that lead me to believe it is a foreign run company acting as Kate Spade retailer. There is no number to contact anyone and no address at all either. I have filed a fraud complaint with my bank as they ended up cancelling my bank card because of this. It is unfortunate because one I do not have my bank card and have to wait for a new one and second they took more money than was my invoice stated (which I have a printed copy of to show proof that I did not pay the higher amount). Highly disappointed that we cannot trust any website anymore.
