Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Today I received a $1870.00!check to be a Walmart mystery shopper. Says to deposit in my account then wire transfer 740.00 each to two individuals in Texas. Then says to spend 50.00 on any item I want and evaluate the wire transfer, walmart2walmart services and cashier services by sending a text message to 6265988293 or to website [email protected]
I researched the documents and found it is a scam. I tried to call the issuing credit union listed on the cashiers check but waited so long I hung up. Never deposited the check and plan to take it, the letter and envelope to my nearest walmart to report in person.
