Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I received an email from zocaloans stating that my application had been reviewed and that I must finish the application for funding. I had never heard of this company or made an application. When I called to ask them if they sent this out to everyone, or did someone actually submit a form, the women told me that I had made it. When I told her that I didn’t and that I was calling to confirm just in case it was identity theft, she asked me if I wanted to retract my application, and that to do this she needed my date of birth, SS# etc. I told her I was not giving out any of my personal information and that I was just going to report that this had happened. A few minutes after the call I received another email stating that my application had been denied for unknown reasons.
