Type of a scam Yellow Pages/Directories

Received first telephone call Fall, 2017. Was asked several questions (very quickly) but did not at any time indicate that I wanted to purchase this service. I did not receive any type of confirmation notice, no contract was signed, nor did they send me any type of payment information. Then this company started to call me on a regular basis. Each time I told them that "I did not want the service" and to "stop calling me". Then a few weeks later, their calls included a recording that was fake, like a "cut and paste" type of recording they stated was me agreeing to purchase their service. The voice in their recording did not even sound like me. Again, each time I told them that I was not interested in their service.

In November, 2017, I began to receive invoices from yourlocal 411. Each invoice should a "6 month Listing" with a cost of $523.95. The Canadian Fraud Bureau instructed me to ignore these invoices and indicated that this was indeed a scam. Subsequent invoices also included a statement that "my account" is extremely overdue and that I needed to remit payment immediately. The most recent invoice has a letter attached, dated April 26, 2018. This letter is a "Pre Collection Notice" stating that my account with yourlocal 411 has now been reported to Credifax, an Accounts Receivables and Management Specialist. It states that if I do not make my payment within 5 business days, that my credit rating will be negatively effected and that this can stay on my credit score for up to 7 years. To date, I have continued to ignore all of these invoices/letters.
