Type of a scam Travel/Vacations
Received an initial call and email regarding a timeshare property membership I own in Cancun, Mexico. Mr. Joseph Kain, see attachment below, asked if I still owned the membership and stated he had an investment firm interested in purchasing my membership. He sent me an email with an offer to purchase and wanted me to sign the offer. He did not ask for my personal home information, but had my name, property location/membership and email address. THIS IS A SCAM and I went through something similar about 18 months ago from a scammer out of Chicago and I contacted the ScamPulse.com to verify their authenticity. Did not provide any money during that experience, but did provide a copy of my membership contract…big mistake on my part. Told the scammer from Chicago I had notified the ScamPulse.com and they got very agitated and hung up!
