I placed an add on Craigslist to sell my vehicle. The same day, this guy name Daniel text messages me that he was interested in buying my car and wanted to arrange a time and place to meet up and see the car. However, he says that before we meet he wanted a “NAH” report. He informs me that “NAH” stands for National Auto History. Upon Googling it, the website www.nationalautohistory.com shows up on the top of the search page and looks like a completely legit website. They charge a fee of $35 to get an auto history report. Sounded strange as I figured the car history that my dealership provided (Carfax and NMVTIS) should suffice. However, he insists that it has to be from “NAH” and that he would want to see that before making arrangements to come see the car.
