This scammer has a website targeting those who want to buy a puppy. This is especially disturbing because they are targeting people who are emotionally vested in pets in the time of COVID. You send them your info and they contact you via text. They ask you to fill out your info via email and payment is made with Zelle. They then say a shipping company will contact you.The shipping company sends you an email saying that if you send them money for the rental of the ‘special temperature crate’ you will get 98% of the money back. The more money, the better the crate and ‘the safer they are from covid’. Crate costs $650-$850. They want the payment within an hour and they also request it over Zelle.
