This is the second service renewal scam email I’ve received in two days. A pdf file of the message is attached. This alleged renewal will cost $449.00. I called the number and asked for someone to tell me about the "scam" email I just received from them. He replied "I must know everything about them." I said "I know nothing about your company except that you are trying to scam me out of $449. Let me speak to Maggie Marie in your billing department." Silence. Dial tone.

These scammers attempted to convince me that I had purchase a support package and it is now tome to renew. I informed them this seemed fraudulent and would not renew. The rep then stated I would be charged 99.00 early termination fee. I explained there was no early termination fee if cancelled on day of renewal. We argued back and forth with him trying to convince me to send money. He tried to get me to give him a check number and routing number for the check that I would send. I did not comply. He gave me this address to send the check: Vandaman, LLC, Memo-Cs, PO Box 90396, Houston, TX. He stated his home office was in New York but the billing office is in Houston. I let him know that I was not buying his scam and would report him.

I received an email "Maggie from Billing Department" Subject: Thank you for your order (#******)
Successful Payment-Auto Renewal confirmation. Company: Windows Support Center, LLC, Head Office, Redmond, Wa. 26399, United States of America. Date: 7/9/2020.
This was an auto renewal notice of my subscription for the "Firewall Security" of my Computer at home.
That it expires in 24 Hours and that 499.00 was going to be taken out of my checking.
Then if I wish to cancel…. it gave a Number: 1-855-733-7426 to speak with a cancellation officer to walk me through the process. I called- that’s when I got suspicious: she tells me that there is a cancellation fee of 199 from my checking. Asked if I was in front of my computer at home. Which I was not. I got off the phone with the person to call my bank to see if it had been hit-it had not. I called back to inform them that they were frauds and I was notifying their ScamPulse.com about their scheme.
