Type of a scam Online Purchase

Our experience is essentially the same as the one reported for "Westies" (West HIghland Terriers) on April 2, 2020. Contacted "seller" named "Homewesties" about a $800 West Highland Terrier puppy on sale that I found through an internet search on 9/1/2020. He asked for me to wire $1000 for the puppy, which I sent in two separate Zelle transactions. Then we were contacted by "globalpetsexpress.com." Grammatical irregularities in their communication, asking for $1500 cash to ship the dog returned via cash upon puppy delivery the next day 9/5/2020. They essentially stole the id and logo of Global Pet Express (no "s" on "pet"), which I discovered is a legitimate company. They asked us to get the cash, go to an ATM, and they would give us a deposit number. It was the delivery scam that brought this all to our attention. But this scam is clearly, as others that have noticed, a Tulsa, Oklahoma issue. The voice on the phone is the same as described in the April 2, 2020—hard to understand, African or Indian accent.
