Type of a scam Online Purchase
I went to a Website with the Walmart logo and believed it to be a legitimate site. I ordered two pools on July 11, 2020. I tagged the website so that I could share it with my friends (glad I did because now the website has disappeared). I paid with my Capital One card through Paypal. The next day July 12, 2020 I received two separate emails with USPS tracking numbers. I went to USPS.com to see when I could expect my pools. I was shocked to see that according to USPS one had “been delivered” on June 29, 2020 and the other on July 6, 2020. This is absolutely impossible as I ordered the pools AFTER those dates and therefore there is no way they were “delivered.” I realized at this point I was a victim of Fraud. I opened a case through Paypal. I went back to the website that I had tagged and it was gone. It was then that I realized this was not a Walmart site because I could clearly see www.loudspeaker.best in the search bar of the now missing website.
