Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
received in the us mail a check for $1500.62 from *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***..the bank stamp that was on the check read "*** *** *** * ***" it looks very real the check.
along with it came a letter congrats to me being a WALGREENS SECRET CUSTOMER…asking me to send email and text of receiving this packet. then asking me to deposit the check and take out $400.00 as my payment. with the rest go to walgreens, apple store, cvs, bestbuy or anywhere they sell E-Bay gift cards purchase cards and Evaluating a few things about the store, Once this is done they ask for you to scratch the code off the back of each card and send them a clear picture of card & code with receite that u purchased them along with your evaluation report to the email above. and if u do with w/in 24hrs of receiving the packet u get extra $100.00…
