Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Applied for a mystery shopper position on ziprecruiter and received a check in the mail for $2450 with a letter of instructions to text a Charles Cole when package was received and to deposit the check and text Mr. Cole for my assignment. Supposedly I was hired to share my experience as a shopper at my local Walmart. Of course I investigated and found out this is a scam before I replied to the offer or deposited the check. So beware.
