Type of a scam Online Purchase
I have a car for sale on craigslist, and I recived a call from someone asking if I have a car for sale, imedently after I say that I do the phone "cuts out" and he asks if he can text me. I say thats fine, and he asks if I can send him a vin report from "http://vinlookups.net" and I tell him that I have all the records for the car on hand and he can just see those if he wants, and anyway I would much rather use carfax or something else more well known rather than his website, but he insists I use http://vinlookups.net to do it.
