Recorded call said my Verizon account was suspended. I chose the "talk to a representative" option to tell them off. Instead of a person, I got another recording saying "For security reasons, please enter your identification PIN." That’s when I hung up.

Iphone X. Convince some one in need of making some quick money to sign several contracts with promise to pay the remaining balance and never do. Leaving the victim stuck with a 2000 bill. If any one comes about offering $100 to go and purchase on your credit a iPhone x or any phone. Report them to the authorities right away! They are scammers. I didn’t realize i was being scammed until the third man involved came into best buy too wanting a 3rd phone off my credit lucky for me the computers were slow at processing causing the third man to be frustrated enough to leave it be. it’s only $2000 that I can easily pay off quickly. But buyer be ware!!!

I received multiple calls from a Louisville phone number over two days. I answered and the person quickly stated hey were calling f on Verizon, I have a balance of $180 some and change and “can you pay that now”. I quickly respond with a stern “no”. The woman hesitated and then said “when do you think you can pay that?” I said “when the bill comes in the mail”. I had r gently cancelled my service and spoke with someone recently that said my final bill would come in the mail even though I had always paid online before. The woman told me I didn’t receive bills in the mail and asked if I usually paid online. I said “yes I do and I want to speak with your supervisor” she put me in hold for several minutes, came back on and said she was getting someone, then I held for several more minutes before hanging up.

I have completed a fraud report with the Spokane Police Department and currently am receiving daily phone calls from Verizon to call 1-800-753-8644 and to pay my over due bill. Please assist with discontinuing this harassment. Thank You.

Caller claimed to be from Verizon, offering lower interest rate on Credit Card, which I do not have. This is an automated message in the beginning, then when you press one, a live agent comes on the line. This agent called himself David. When trying to call the number back, it is a disconnected number. I called Verizon and they stated it was a scam as well. I finally hung up on the scammer when they wouldn’t listen to me.

Megan called from "Verizon down on our Main Street". (we have no Verizon on our Main Street) She simply wanted to know if we liked our cell phones. she knew how many we had and what kind. She tried several times to get me to answer a simple yes or no. I hope I didn’t! I haven’t lost money yet, but it is early as it happened this morning at 11 am.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Every couple of months I get an email from this address claiming to be Verizon Wireless. They give my account number, bill total due, ad the due date- all of which are in accurate. Their end game is to get me to sign up for Auto Pay with a bank account through a link in the email. It’s obvious to me that this is a scam preying on Verizon consumers, but I worry that others may fall for it.

This phone number called 3 times in one day. When I finally answered, the phone volume was very low. They said they were calling from Verizon and thought the connection might be bad and asked if I could hear them. I answered yes, then it went silent as though I were on hold or they muted their end of the line. I asked if they could hear me, and the phone crackled, and I hung up.

I received a call from someone impersonating a verizon customer service rep. He said that I was behind on by bill and need to pay $22.50 to prevent having our service disconnected. I asked him if I could go in and he said I would have to pay additional fees up to $150. Told him I would have my wife call him back. She called him and we both were sure it was a scam. We did not pay any money!

Received a call from a very polite gentleman saying our July payment for our Verizon account had been returned. He wanted us to pay that bill plus this months bill immediately or our Verizon service would be shut off within the next 15 minutes. We ask him to send us the returned payment since it hadn’t cleared. He said he would send it to us but we had to cover it to keep our service. We started questioning him about who he was….he hung up!!
