Total money lost $200
Type of a scam Online Purchase
There was an ad on Facebook this summer for a $4.95 trial for anti-aging serum. Somewhere in the fine print if you didn’t cancel within a few weeks of the 4.95 posting, they charge you an additional 89.73. Then the next month they do the same and send another bottle. When I called they said I had a contract and they have a copy of my online order etc.but would cancel going forward – so no order will come through in November. But, you can’t get to their website — it doesn’t seem to be in DNS. At least my debit card transaction showed a phone number that I used other than the one listed on the bottle. I have made a few mistakes like this in the past and have gotten all my money back. These people have taken over $200 of my money and I’m returning the second bottle. I can’t believe others have not complained about them.
