I had an ad on Craigslist to sell my car and received a series of legitimate sounding questions by text about the vehicle. They then asked me to send them a “VR report” and directed me to the address http://vehiclesrecord.com
Being that I had never heard of this site, I offered to give them my vin number and let them run the report or send them one from a well known company, but they continued insisting that I purchase the report and send it to them from the given website.
I assume it’s a scam because of the obscure company the report he is requesting is through.
