I was called the other day, telling me my warranty was expiring on my car, and they insisted I needed to have it covered for repairs,I told them I didn’t think I needed that and couldn’t afford it at this time., but he started yelling at me stating "fine I’ll tell Cadillac you don’t want to take care of the vehicle any longer, I was kind of shocked in his reaction, but like a dummy I set up a plan with them on the phone.i then called my cadillac dealer, he said No they are scammers, I have been trying to call them back on two numbers and no one answers the phones. Called my bank to stop payment. Boy learned my lesson!

Called my cell and claimed to be "The Warranty Department" with no mention of what auto company’s warranty department. They claimed that they held my car’s warranty and when I asked what car, they replied a 2012 Toyota 4Runner. I do not own, nor have ever owned such a car. This is the third time a company has contacted me regarding that exact make/model. When I tell them that I don’t own that car, they respond "Oh, let us update our file, what type of car do you own?"

When I asked what company this was, they said "Vehicle Protection Services" and when I asked to speak to a manager, the operator hung up on me.
