Type of a scam Government Grant
James is the person whom I talked to from the phone # 206-565-0258. He said we have a $9,200 grant that needs to be given to me. I said what are you talking about. He said its a grant from the government for people who have disabilities, school, etc. He asked me my name. I said no. I don’t trust you because this maybe a scam and if it is, I will notify the Attorney General’s Office. He said "oh no its no scam. We are conducted under the FBI. Then he asked me if I lived by a Walmart and how far was it from me? You go in there or these other businesses and collect my money. Even a bank institution. Stupid me, told him I lived 30 miles from Walmart and gave him my zip code. Here about 3 weeks ago, I get a call from Microsoft telling me everything was wrong with my computer. To make a long story short I let them on my computer. I tried to take control of the mouse and he said I’m in control of your computer so leave it alone. I said no and shut it down. Two minutes later my bank from fraud department called me and said there was some suspicious activity on my account. They tried taking money and gave me lots of virus’s and had to take it to the computer place to clean things up. So why am I telling you this when this is off the subject? Is because first of all I have never done this before and looked what happened to me. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did. Please people don’t be naïve like me please!!!! So back to where I was, sorry. So here again I gave James the information he asked and stupid me gave it to him. Haven’t I learned from my mistake before? Evidently Not!! He said as soon as I hang up with him to call the Senior Account Manager at 646-801-5611 and give him my Grant ID# YA9612 and I will receive $9,200. I sad ok bye.
