Type of a scam Government Grant
My friend contacted me via Facebook to let me know she had been given $100K in cash by US Dept of Labor as a worker’s comp grant. She explained it was delivered to her door via FedEx and that I should apply too. She told me to text 614-827-3942 or email [email protected] to apply. The person I texted wrote back to say I would have to pay $1,000 fee via MoneyGram to receive the $100K. This is when I became suspicious and called ScamPulse.com to confirm whether or not this was a scam as I my friend was really adamant that she had received this money.
