Type of a scam Online Purchase
Someone called me this morning (Feb 13,2017) and asked if this was John..I said "yes" and he asked again if this was "John" and I again said "yes". He then said something about a cleaning service and I replied that I wasn’t interested and hung up. I feel this may have been one of those "yes" scam phone calls I have heard about…I phoned the ScamPulse.com and an employee named Miss Willman advised me to send this report. Apparently people are phoning and getting you to say the word "yes" while they tape the conversation then splice the recorded word "yes" into a tape that appears to sound like you agreed to buy something. CBC news said that this is a new scam just starting up.
