Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

My workplace received a Bill from this company for advertisement in a community resource guide, for 2 units advertisement in the Colin County Community Resource guide. Also attached to bill was the companies W9. First of all Colin is spelled wrong, 2nd there is no name of publication. There is no website, no on-line presence at all. We called the number and said we did not advertise with you and the lady, Heather Hoffman, said "Oh that was a printing mistake, that was supposed to be an advertisement to with us, just rip up bill." Bigger companies may actually pay this bill, it looks legitimate.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

My company received an invoice from a business, Universal Vision Media, that I have never heard of. I did extensive research and cannot find that this is a real company. The invoice states it is for advertisement in a community resource guide. I believe there have been similar scams using different company names and different PO boxes.
