Received a fake invoice from Unified Distribution for a toner that was never ordered and never received. The invoice stated the toner was for Ricoch 2020, Unit-Stock #8543 and the bill was for $433.00. I looked up the company on ScamPulse.com they are not accredited, nor do they provide any real services and many others have the same exact complaint, without a doubt this is a scam. If you ever get this "bill" immediately rip it apart as I did (which is why I can’t attach a copy of it). Side note, I did call just to see if anyone would answer and heard a Spanish speaking woman on the other end who could not speak English. I hope someone catches these scammers.

We received an Invoice in the mail from this company "Unified Distribution" for a Toner Cartridge that we did not purchase. We do not carry the brand of printer that this Toner Cartridge even goes to, nor would we pay $433.00 for one cartridge. I am a Hotel Manager for a Hampton Inn by Hilton in San Antonio, TX. I tried to call the phone number on the invoice, but it went straight to voicemail, and did not sound very professional at all. Be aware, this is definitely a scam and one Toner Cartridge will almost never cost you $400.00, let alone $300.00.

My library has leases on our copiers and the other printers in our space are all supplied by myself ordering toner from contracted vendors. This invoice showed up from a company I have never done business with for toner for a model I have never heard of (except as a cell phone). I did some online research and found out that this "company" sends out these invoices (they even had the same amount as what was listed on this fake invoice).
Not only that, but I am on a face to face/first name basis with our sales reps for our vendors. I do NOT work with an "Amy" or "Jeremy" for supplies (nor anything really).

We use Pacific Office Automation and have a specific person we go through for our toner. The invoice date is 5/8/2018. We have not ordered toner in the month of May yet. The contact name they have down is Titus… We don’t have a Titus working for us. The machine they billed us for is an Oki Data 2633. We don’t have that brand of printer. The email address is through a yahoo account and the phone number listed goes to a voicemail.

When I called the phone number on the invoice, a recording with a male voice answered. I left my name and phone number to call me back. A moment later the phone rang, I answered, and no one responded. This is a scam! We did not order or receive this toner. I looked up that particular item number listed on the invoice and from a normal supply store it would cost $38.00.

Received a invoice in the amount of $433.00 for Toner that we did not order. Invoice looks legit, but we did not pay because we had never heard of this company and do not normally order from them. The invoice referenced two of our employees names, including the name of our employee who normally orders printer ink. It also referenced the correct make and model of our printer, but we don’t use toner.
I suspect they got our info one of two ways: either because a person called asking about the make and model of our printer a few weeks ago and gathered some names or because they pilfered info from the company we normally order from. Hmmm . . In the world of scammers, keep your checks and balances in order. Those who pay bills need to have someone in the organization confirm its authenticity.

Our business received this invoice from this company for toner cartridge in the amount of $433.00. They also placed an employee’s name as the contact name for approving this order which is very convenient for them since our employees are required to answer the phone this way. That made it seem almost legitimate and this employee was under question until we tried to call this number which went to voicemail and then looked up this "business" and found every review exactly like ours. One review had even paid the money which they stated had not been returned. This is a scam plain and simple and the trouble these people go to to con businesses, could be spent actually earning an honest living just as easily. Double check everything. Don’t fall victim to these lowlifes.
