Type of a scam Tech Support
A cold call to my business cell phone. A nice and friendly man offering website development and SEO services from India. He went through all the information he is offering such as Social Media listing, Mobile compatible, Word Press platform which is better than what I have showing on the internet. A one time set up cost of 700 for a new website. A 499 cost for building the links and tags etc so the website would show on first page of Google. I would only have to pay in portions of 300 installments until the site and SEO services are up and running so I could see that its working and that I would be completely satisfied. Then asked how I would like to pay. With a credit card or bank card. I said neither but would pay by PayPal, he said that would be fine. He said he would email me all of the pertinent information so I could see that its a legitimate company and totally transparent etc. But the email never came. So I realize its a good talking SCAM to gain my trust and ask for payment. Watch out for this guy is really good and sounds professional and seems to know what he’s talking about.
