Type of a scam Online Purchase
On Aug 12, 2019, I purchased an oil filter from their website .
On Sept 16, I picked up their package and discovered that I had been sent a pair of sunglasses and not an oil filter.
On Sept 17, I e-mailed Customer Service stating that what I had received was a pair of sunglasses, not the oil filter that I had ordered .
They asked for pictures so, on Sept 19, I sent them pictures.
The pictures weren’t clear enough so, on Sep 28, I sent a better set of pictures.
Several e-mails went back and forth and because it was taking them forever to resolve the matter, on Oct 29, I asked for a refund.
Then, on Oct 29, they admitted they sent me the wrong item and they asked me to just keep the sunglasses.
On Oct 30, I replied that I never wear sunglasses and to please refund my money .
On Oct 31, they stated that the oil filter that I ordered was no longer in stock and they offered to refund me 5% of the price of the sunglasses.
On the following day, I repeated that I never wore sunglasses and to please refund my money.
I haven’t heard back from them since.
