I am 88 these people contacted me and made me think my computer had a problem. They scammed me into writing a check for $299.90 to “fix” my computer. My daughter stopped payment on the check and undid what they had done. I called to tell them and they got belligerent.

Today my computer screen blew up and said I had viruses dating back to July 2019. They tried to get me to send a check to fix it however I decided not to. I can’t use my computer and so I had to go buy a new one. They are frauds. Do I have any recourse? Please advise. Olga carr

I wish the micro soft will do something with this tune up world because they are bringing the name of microsoft to fool people. In my experience, there was a number keeps on popping on my screen says my computer is in danger need to call this number. And so I did, and the guy he said he
is certified Microsoft tech support and he will take care of the problem with my computer. He billed me for 620.58 for 5 years total protection along with windows 10 license? The address he gave me is: 1451 MOHR CIR Macungie, PA 18062… they scammed me too!

I was doing work on my computer when a virus showed up. They said they fixed it and I sent a money order for $149.99.The address is Tune Up World
1451 Mohr Circle
Macungie, PA. 18062
I now see it was a scam. Please find them and stop them.
They called all day to get the money. How they were able to hack into my laptop is upsetting. They must be stopped.

Had a message on my computer that my computer had a virus and forwarded me to 877-503-0409. They said they were a tech service. Guy I spoke with said his name was George but it was obvious a fake name because he was foreign. Sounded Middle Eastern. And a different name was shown on my computer screen when I gave him access to my keyboard on my computer. (I will never do this again) One day in a 4 hour period, they called me 26 times! Constantly harassing me! They still call me but they hang up before they will try to leave a message. They want me to pay $149.99, which I had intended to send them! Stupid on my part! I did some research and found out this phone number was used for scams of all types. Tech support was just one of the scams they use. Just received another call today! These guys need to be found and arrested, they have driven me nuts!

My HP laptop kept sending me alerts that my security was critical and I needed new software. I received an email to fix this problem. I allowed them to access my laptop and install software for the cost of 915.00. It worked for a short period of time, then I received more messages from my laptop I had no security. I conveniently then received a call from Mark Roy (860-222-0005) telling me my lap top updated and now they are no longer compatible with my systems. They offered a refund but also needed to me to purchase Best Buy steaming gift cards to secure the new product while I wait for the refund. When I called back to ask for my confirmation email about all that transpired the company claimed that it wasn’t them who called and that I was hacked and it was my fault because I gave them access. When I confronted them about the fact that there company was hacked in order for them to hack me they said no. Then insisted in order to fix my situation I needed to pay them 4,000. As I cried they told me “crying wouldn’t help my current situation”. As far as I’m concerned they clearly are working together.
