Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was to evaluate the nearby Walmart, their quality of service, staff, and products. I would be paid $300 and be sent a survey to fill out. I was to spend $200 to purchase an Apple itunes card but return the numbers on the card to them. The remaining money was to be sent in a Western Union cash deposit service to a supplied name. I was to receive a check to cover all of this. I received the check today for $2,330.70. and they had changed from Western Union to Wells Fargo for deposit. Up in the corner of the check was ITS, Inc.. Shoreline, MN so I Googled the name. The company had nothing to do with market research so I called them and was told to get rid of the check, They
sounded as though it was not the first call.
