Type of a scam Employment
My information was taken from careerbuilder.com where I was looking for work at home opportunities in customer service. I am struggling to find employment during COVID-19 as are many people. Scammers are taking advantage of this. Now, I keep receiving spam calls and emails. One of the spam calls was to schedule an interview with a company supposedly called Philadelphia Inc or Philly Inc (the company does not exist, and the office location I was given is actually that of STC Direct Philly https://stcdirectphilly.com/). I was told they work with labor unions handling member concerns. I attended the zoom meeting interview to find it was for a company called American Income Life Insurance hosted by Travis Vaughn https://www.linkedin.com/in/travissostackngear/ https://twitter.com/TravisRVaughn who has worked for the company for the past 5 years. For the past 3 years, Travis has used a company called Arias Agency to spam people into attending his meetings. I keep receiving emails from Arias to sign up for his meetings, but they are actually presentations for American Income Life Insurance. At the end of the presentation, the company tries to get people to pay money to apply for a job, which is their primary source of income. It is a scam. Do not fall for it. Please help me stop Travis Vaughn and his affiliates from scamming people out of their money who are looking for work and struggling financially to begin with.
