Type of a scam Identity Theft
An unprofessional man called and insisted that I provide personal information to confirm my identity before discussing a supposed "personal matter" about debt. (I have no debt)
This was very clearly a scam. They argued and became irate with me when I refused to provide any personal info.
I informed the caller that I had sniffed out their identity theft scam and that I would be reporting them to the authorities.
They told me to go ahead and hung up.
