I bought a dog ($500). (Or thought i was) planned to drive out of state to get dog. Was told no, it would be cheaper to ship to my door at $150. Reluctantly agreed. After 6 hours, was told the dog was in my state what would need to pay $1500 more to have him finished being shipped. Then was told i needed another $150 to feed dog over night. I said no and that id just drive to get him. They told me i couldnt. I wasnt allowed to. That if i didnt pay the 150, i would go to jail for pet endangerment. I got the 150, then was told i needed an extra $2000 for a certificate of some kind and that it was required by law. When asked why they didnt state this before shipment, they never replyed. And still refused to let me come get dog! Told i would report them, they said it wouldnt do any good and id go to jail if i didnt pay. And they only took gift cards.
So to agency, i paid 150+750+350+150=$1400 just to ship dog to me. Not to mention the $600 i paid to buy the dog.
