Type of a scam Online Purchase
I saw an Ad on Instagram for cute bohemian clothes and clicked on the website for TracyBet. They were having a deal where if you bought 4 items you would get the fifth one for half off. All of the clothes were discounted and it seemed too good to be true. Unfortunately I couldn’t resist and purchased 5 items. A week after I purchased the items I got an email that said the delivery time would be longer than usual to due to the festival. This was a warning sign to me and the email was poorly written and worded and what festival were they talking about? Another week went by and I emailed them to know when my package would arrive. They gave me the run around again and I did some research online and discovered they are a scam company from China. It is common that is takes months for the order to be delivered, if it ever showed up, and when the items arrive they looked nothing like what was posted on the website. Essentially what people receive is cheap rag like looking clothing that’s not worth wearing. I opened a dispute on PayPal and it’s taking forever for anything to happen. Now the company shows that it is sending my package, since they don’t want to have to pay me back. The package has been "shipping" for two weeks. It’s ridiculous. This company is a scam and they prey on young women who want affordable and cute bohemian clothes. I got ripped off and may never get my money back. This situation has made me aware of how easy it is to make fake websites and I will not fall victim to this again. Don’t trust ads that look too good to be true, it’s a lie. Be warned that this company uses the same fake clothes for other websites and they are all a scam.
