I received an email and a text message on the 10th of October to get 20 bonus minutes by adding a TracFone 200 minutes card with promo code 47538 [Offer ends in 1 week!]. After promptly doing so (and NOT receiving my bonus minutes), I received a text stating [Please contact our Customer Care Center at 1-800-867-7183 to complete this transaction].
After spending nearly 20 minutes on my cell phone with their customer care service. I was told that this promo code was NO longer valid. Also that promo codes are randomly generated and that this particular code was used by me back in May.
Obviously a scam on many levels. Resending invalid/used codes, regardless how generated. And asking to be contacted an order for you to use more minutes to complete a BOGUS transaction with their less than stellar customer service.
