Type of a scam Employment
I first received a text message from 731-439-9648 stating Good Day, How are you doing today. My Name is Scott the HR Manager for the Walmart/ebay survey job. The packet to start your first job task will be delivered in your mailbox via USPS, Complete the job task once it is received. Confirm that you have received this text notification. I then received a package in the mail with the attached instructions on what I am supposed to do.. With this letter came a check for the amount of $2,468..68 which was drawn on a Suntrust Bank in Laurel, Md. The package that was delivered was sent by a Trish Leonard 844 Stiles St, Clarksdale, Ms.38614. …. First of all I did not apply for any survey jobs, secondly the minute I opened this package my gut instincts were telling me this is a scam……Do Not get sucked into this scam …… I hope that the people that are responsible for doing this are caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law..
