Type of a scam Debt Collections
I’ve received now 3 phone calls in the last 2 days from this company saying that I "owe" a credtor 800.43. When I inquired as to what their company name was was given 3 different names, none of which I can find any information about anywhere. The names of the companies were "Joint Recovery Solutions" "Total Debt Recovery" and "Total Joint Recovery". When I asked about the location of their company they informed me they were located in Houston, TX. This was odd to me as they are calling from a San Francisco based area code and there is no indication that their number is connected to their company. I also asked about the creditor they were hired by and they told me it was, "Cash Connection" and that this company was based out of Roseville, CA. Their phone number was (510)335-1331. I also requested they send me information so as soon as I receive that information I will submit another report on their company.
