I applied to a job ad on Indeed.com for a Front Office Manager position for Tolteca Food Service. Someone going by the name Patrick Dylan responded to me through Indeed saying they filled that position but would be adding a second one in November and wanted to consider me for it, but in the meantime the President (Alvin Gavras) needed personal assistant help for a couple of weeks while he was out of town and offered that to me. I took the temp job in good faith because I needed work. This Alvin Gavras was supposed to send me a check to cover the errands I was supposed to do on his behalf as well as my pay. I ended up being the victim of a counterfeit check instead. I have alerted Indeed as well as the local police and thought the BBB should be informed about them also.
