Was looking for the actual Ticketmaster website and came across this phone number instead. I called with concerns about a refund I was expecting but have yet to receive. These guys then instructed me to go to a Walgreens to purchase a prepaid credit card to where they could then send the refund. After researching common scams associated with prepaid cards it then struck me that these guys did not actually work for the real Ticketmaster, but instead a knock off site posing as the real Ticketmaster website .

My fiance and I was looking for tickets to the Columbus Blue jacket game for my son’s birthday and ticket master event was the first site that came up. We both thought it was ticket master. They said there was a promotion through Google play and that we could get 10% off. Since we thought this was a legit company we did it. They told us that the tickets would come through email in 5-7 min. They never arrived. Called again and was then told 45 min because there was a delay. At that point I was was pretty sure we were scammed. I waited though and still checked my email and still nothing. I have since been calling and they either hang up on me or there’s a busy signal.

I was on the coliseum website & clicked purchase tickets for an upcoming football game & the link took me to ticketmaster website to purchase tickets. I searched for ticketmaster phone number and dialed the first number I saw, however it obviously wasn’t ticketmaster, but they answered their phones like ticketmaster. they collected a prepaid card from me because I was buying resale football tickets & the seller was supposedly requesting they be paid on a prepaid card.
