Type of a scam Business Email Compromise

product being promoted is called "nootropics". website promises 2 free bottles, then 1 free bottle. I wound up ordering 2 bottles at $*** each, for a total of $***. when I closed the transaction, they said they would be billing my credit card for $***. Within a half hour, I called the company, told them I did not like their tactics, and told them I wanted to cancel the order and expected a full refund. after much debate back and forth they said they would be refunding $*** to my credit card. I requested a cancellation confirmation number and she gave me one. later on, when I checked, I found the cancellation number she gave was the same as the original order number. I don’t know yet how this will end, but, clearly, this is a scam all the way. as further evidence of the intent to scam, their 4 pages of "terms & conditions" tell you "to obtain your refund contact customer service by phone at the number above" , but there is no phone number given above or anywhere else in the "terms & conditions". they obviously choose not to make it easy to get a refund.
