Type of a scam Tech Support
I received a call from someone with an Indian accent saying that they were from Window tech support and that my computer had sent a lot of error messages. They were there to help. He asked me to hit the Windows + R key, (This will bring up a run command box). At that point I asked his company name. He said The Vivid Support in Alahambra, CA. I have a mac so I knew it was a hoax. I hung up. I did some research and I see that this is a common hoax. the people from Vivid Support wrote into the on-line discussion and said that this group using their name, as they were using Window’s name.
