My 13 y/o solid black German Shepherd passed away June 2016. I searched the web in order to replace him, and contacted David ***Â of "Texas Select German Shepherds". 1196 CR 2368 Liberty , TX 77575. I called 832-445-9724 to inquire about a solid black shepherd. I was informed that there would be a litter in the fall of last year. I was also informed that I needed to place a down payment of $650 to secure a puppy as they frequently sell out prior to birth. I filled out website application and attempted to pay with USAA credit Card {Visa}. The web site would not take the card. I text messaged *** ***Â and the reply was to just pay his office. He stated that he was currently at his bank trying to resolve the issue. I then presumed that he was a veterinarian. I was text messaged 936-336-3100 to place payment. This number is to Trinity Valley Medical Clinic. The receptionist told me the "doc " had notified her and took my payment on 6/16/16. He is reportedly a retired family practice doctor. I felt safe with no receipt given that he was a DOCTOR! Last fall came and past so I called about my promised pup. I was informed that there had been a "false pregnancy" and to expect a puppy "Just before Christmas". I called again the end of Nov 2016 to check on my Christmas puppy and was informed there again had been a "false pregnancy". I was then told to expect puppy in Jan and that I needed to be patient. I replied that 8 mo was pretty patient. I called again end of Feb 2017 and still no puppy. I then asked for my $650 dollars back. He will not return my money or answer calls. I paid for a product almost 1 year ago that I have not received. His last text message to me was to check my bank account as he had refunded me. REALLY!! I paid with credit card. .. USAA at that! How would he know my bank account number? Thank You, *** ***
