Type of a scam Employment
I received a random invitation for an interview with an employer I never applied to 7/17. This employer did not call to confirm the interview invitation prior to my response. I called the phone number attached to the email, and it did not have a company name on the voicemail. I was finally able to get ahold of the recruiter , and she stated I applied 7/10/19 via a job site, Zip Recruiter. I explained to her that I never applied and have not accessed that site in some time. I took it upon myself to reach out to Zip Recruiter directly, and they confirmed that I had not applied to any employer on their site , and that this employer did not have an account either.
